Passionate About Roses?

Of course you are and who wouldn’t be?  They’re the world’s most popular flower epitomizing love, warmth and affection.

Select roses that grow well in your climate making sure that the bed is well placed.  Never under a tree or in harsh sunlight as 4-6 hours of shade during the hottest time of day is advantageous.  Rotted manure and clay should be worked into your topsoil as roses are hungry feeders and remember that a slightly acidic soil aids the rose’s ability to absorb nutrients.  It’s best to water at least once a week at ground level as overhead watering aids in diseases such as black spot.

With proper care and attention you’ll be rewarded with beauty, grace and a fragrance that no other bloom can provide so click on the link to our store and wander through our “rose garden”.
